Middle School Summer Career Exploration

    2025 Middle School Summer Career Exploration 

    The Career Exploration Summer School Program is designed to provide incoming freshman students the opportunity to explore up to 6 different career fields of interest. Students will participate in career and education planning, hands-on career exploration classes and possible industry tours and field trips.

    • Students must be an out-going 8th grader / incoming 9th grader currently enrolled in an ASD school for the 2024-25 school year with the intent of coming back in Fall 2025.
    • Students must attend the full 2 weeks to be eligible to earn a .5 elective high school credit.
    • Students must abide by all school district policies.
    • Students must bring their ASD-issued Chromebooks.
    • Shelf-stable breakfast will be available on request, and lunch will be provided.

    **No class on Juneteenth Holiday (Thursday, June 19)**

     

  • Location: King Tech High School (2650 E. Northern Lights Blvd) 

    Transportation: School Bus will be available from some local schools
